Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu. Meet and greet by our team and transfer to the hotel. The remaining of the afternoon is leisure time. A pre-pilgrim tour briefing will be given around 6 pm where arrangements will be made for the distribution of your official program. In Evening, you will be heading out to dinner at your hotel and this is a great opportunity to get acquainted with your fellow group members before starting the Hindu Pilgrim tours in Nepal.

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, our team will come to pick you up at 08:40 am and drive you to visit the holiest Hindu Pilgrim temples of Kathmandu valley. Firstly, we will be heading towards the Budanilkantha Temple, which is situated at the foot of Shivapuri Hills, which is also known by the name Jal Narayan. The temple is known as a house of sleeping Lord Vishnu which is about 8 km away from the city. This temple is famous among the Hindu devotees. After finishing the visit to Budanilkantha, we will be driving towards the Pashupati Temple, which is the most important pilgrimage sites for the Shiva devotees. It is located 3 KM west of Kathmandu on the bank of Bagmati River. There are 1,000 Shiva Lingam in Pashupatinath.
After finishing the visit of Pashupati temple, we will have lunch and then drive to Changunarayan Temple which is situated at the top of the Changu hill surrounded by a forest of Champak tree, 12 km away from Kathmandu is known as the oldest temple of Nepal. Offering your prayers to Changunarayan, we will drive back to the hotel. Have your dinner, prepare the luggage for early check out for the next day and overnight in Kathmandu.

Today, after breakfast we will check out from the hotel and proceed with our day-long pilgrim tours visiting the Krishna temple in Patan Durbar Square, Kusheshowr Mahadev temple in Nepalthok which is 80 km away from Kathmandu, then finally we will reach the Haleshi which is 394 km away from Kathmandu.
During the visit of Krishna Temple in Patan Durbar Square, you will be worshiping in the temple of Krishna which is entirely built with stone and does not contain wood or bronze for any kind of support. The temple is an outcome of the merger of two distinct styles, the solidly formed southern Gupta Sikhara form and the open multi-storied style of Moghul. There are stone carvings of various gods and goddesses on the passage of the temple. After finishing worshipping in Krishna temple, we will drive direction to the eastern Nepal following the B.P. Highway. We will visit and worship at Kusheshowr Mahadev and drive continue further 292 km further to Halesi.
After reaching the Halesi, we will rest after a day-long drive, have dinner and overnight in Halesi.

Wake up early morning and we will visit the Halesi Mahadev temple offering prayers to the Halesi Mahadev which is a popular Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage site. It stands at an altitude of 1500m, and the temple is inside the cave (20m below) and lies between the Dudh Koshi and Koshi River. The Halisei Mahadev temple is dedicated to the Lord Mahadev and it is believed that Mahadev was hiding inside the cave from the demon Bhasmasur.
After finishing the prayer, enjoy the amazing natural beauty and surrounding landscape views.
After finishing the prayer, we will return to the hotel and enjoy breakfast. Then, we will prepare for the check-out and drive further to another one of the holiest historical places where Ram and Sita got married Janakpurdham. It is situated 215km via B.P. Highway and Khurkot-Ghurmi Madhya Pahadi Highway at the Dhanusha district of Nepal. After reaching Janakapur, check-in and relax at the hotel.

Today early morning visit to the Janakpurdham and worship in the Ram Sita Mandir. Janakpurdham is one of the holiest cities among Hindu people. Devotees from Nepal, India and Sri Lanka do visit this holy place on different occasions. After worshipping, back to the hotel and have your breakfast.
After breakfast, we will walk around and visit Ratna Sagar which is a sacred pond in 10 minutes' walking distance from the Ram Janaki temple. After then, the remaining day remains for relaxing. You can visit the Rami Sita temple again walk around and enjoy your free time on your own. Eat evening dinner at the hotel and overnight in Janakpur.

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast, we will drive to another holy site Devghat and finally drive further to overnight in Pokhara. After reaching Pokhara, we will overnight and spend one more day for relaxation.
After a long drive of 240 km from Janakpurdham to Narayanghar, Bharatpur we will reach approximately after 5 hours’ drive. From the city of Narayanghar Devghat Dham lies just 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) away. Devghat is a town and village development committee in Tanahu District in the Gandaki Zone of central Nepal. It is located at the junction of the Seti Gandaki and Krishna Gandaki rivers and is one of the holiest places in Hindu mythology as well as a holy place for Hindu gods. Devghat is home to various temples and caves of Hindu gods, goddesses, and saints including Goddess Sita’s cave, Bashistha Cave, Radha Krishna Temple, Galeshwor Temple, Sita Ram Temple, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Shankaracharya Temple, Bageshori Temple, Laxmi Narayan Divya Dham, Maula Kalika Temple, and Bishwa Shanti Dharmashala among others. Mahesh Sanyas, Hari Hara, Sharana Gati, Galeshwor, Radha Sarbeshwor Bhajan and Yogi Narahari Nath are ashrams where various religious activities are performed all year round.
After offering the prayers in Dhevghat Dham, we will continue our journey to the beautiful city of Pokhara. From Narayanghar to Pokhara is about 129 km which may take us another 3-4 hours drive. After reaching Pokhara, check-in at the hotel and relax the evening on your own.

After a hectic and tiring drive, today we will spend a full day relaxing. Enjoy your breakfast, walk around the beautiful lake and afternoon lunch will be provided. Today we will have early morning breakfast and check out to drive towards the direction of Jomsom. At 7 am, we will meet in the hotel lobby and start our journey to Jomsom – Muktinath, following the scenic winding off-road that offers beautiful mountain views and amazing landscapes. Drive to Jomsom 168 Km (9-10 hrs) and stands at an altitude of 2,743m, your pilgrimage tour will be started from Pokhara to Jomsom. On the way, you will enjoy the scenic drive and you could explore local culture and beautiful panoramic views through the riverbank of Kaligandaki, Beni, Ghasa, Marpha, Jomsom along with the Kaligandaki Valley arrival Jomsom.

After reaching Jomsom, we will check-in at a hotel relax for acclimatization. Have your dinner and overnight Hotel in Jomsom.

Wake-up early morning, and take our packed breakfast then start our pilgrim journey to Muktinath. Our early morning drive will lead us via Kagbeni to Jharkot, then Ranipauwa and finally to the spiritual Muktinath Temple. There are 2 Kunda (Water Ponds), the name of Laxmi Saraswoti Kunda. There are 108 waterspouts cast in the shape of cow headed pour holy water which you will find just behind the Muktinath temple. Lots of pilgrimage takes bath from the ice-cold holy water where they believe that after taking a bath in this holy water their sins would be washed.
Furthermore, there is the sacred water that starts from rock inside the ancient Tibetan style “Jwala Mai Temple”. The holy flame alongside a spring that is the source of the religious importance of Muktinath. Another attraction for the pilgrimage is the River Kali Gandaki from where one can collect fossils of the old age. After finishing the pilgrimage sites, we will drive back to Pokhara and overnight in Pokhara.

Have your breakfast and check out from the hotel to drive to Kathmandu today. On the way, we will visit the Manakamana temple which is situated at 1,300m in the top of the hill in the Gorkha district of Nepal by riding the cable car. This is a temple of Goddess Durga Bhagawati, an incarnation of Parvati, venerated sacred place of Hindu Goddess. The meaning of word Manakamana reflects two different Nepalese meanings; Man means HEART and Kamana means WISHES. Venerated since the 17th century, it is believed that Goddess Manakamana grants the wishes of all those who make the pilgrimage to her shrine to worship her. Manakamana Darshan is most popular during Dashain (Sept-Oct) and Nag Panchami (July –August) during which time devotees stand for as long as five to ten hours to pray to Goddess Bhagwati.
After finishing the visit to Manakamana Temple, we will ride the cable car and come back to Kurintar. Then we will continue our drive to Kathmandu. Dinner at hotel and overnight in Kathmandu.

Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel in Kathmandu. At 9 am our team will come to pick you up and drive you to visit our final pilgrimage Hindu temple “Doleshwor Mahadeva Temple”. Doleshowor Temple is a Hindu temple of Lord Shiva located in the Sipadol Municipality, southeastern part of Bhaktapur District, Nepal, and is believed to be the head part of Kedarnath located in Uttarakhand, India.

On August 22, 2009, the head priest of Kedarnath peeth Shree 1008 Jagat Guru Bheemashankarling Shivacharya unveiled the plaque claiming that Doleshwor Mahadev, located in Jangam math Bhaktapur, is the head part of Shri Kedarnath. He performed Rudra Abhishek, a special worshipping at the Doleshwor Mahadev temple. This is also mentioned in the inscription (Sheela Lekh) at Doleshwar Mahadev. After visiting the temple, drive back to Kathmandu and free day for shopping. At evening dinner with the entire team, exchange the reviews and happiness of the tour after completing the pilgrimage sites in Nepal.
