Day 2 :
SIGHTSEEING OF Kathmandu Valley

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel before beginning your sightseeing adventure. At 9:00 AM, our representative will pick you up for a day-long cultural and historical tour of Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city of Nepal.

Your first stop will be Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a treasure of art and architecture. Here, you’ll visit the Kumari Ghar (House of the Living Goddess), Kasthamandap — an ancient wooden pavilion built from a single tree — as well as the Seto Bhairab and Kalo Bhairab temples. The area’s spiritual energy and colorful traditions will fascinate both adults and children alike, especially the sight of yogis and sadhus near the temples.

Next, you’ll proceed to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, perched on a hilltop overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. Enjoy panoramic views of the city while playful monkeys create a lively atmosphere around the sacred stupa — an experience children especially love.

Your tour then continues to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and holiest Buddhist sites in the world, revered for its peaceful ambiance and spiritual significance.

The final visit of the day takes you to Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Here, you may witness traditional Hindu cremation rituals along the riverbank. If you prefer to avoid this part of the visit, please inform your guide, who will arrange an alternative route.

Capture the beauty and spirituality of Kathmandu through photographs before returning to your hotel. Evening at leisure and overnight stay in Kathmandu.
