Highlight of Northern Vietnam

You will be taking Thai airways at 0025 from Kathmandu to Bangkok and then from Bangkok to Kathmandu at 0745. You will be landing at 0935 hours at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN). Meet and greet by our team and drive to the Hanoi centre which takes you about 35 minutes drive from the airport. Since the standard check-in time at your hotel is at 1400 hours, we will store your luggage at hotel's lobby and get prepare to have the city sightseeing tours which starts at 1300 - 1315 hours from your hotel. You will explore the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century 15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which was originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the "Hanoi Hilton" 16.15 -16.30: drop you at the Thang Long Theatre for the Water Purpet Show, After the sightseeing we will transfer to the hotel situated at the city centre. The transfer distance is approximately 40 minutes. Check-in and overnight in Hanoi. Accommodation: Bed

Today, after breakfast get ready at 8:00-8:30AM. Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel’s lobby. We leave Hanoi by coach to Hoa Lu which will take us about (2.5 hrs). After arriving at Hoa Lu; we will visit the historic capital of Viet Nam and the famous ancient temples of Le and The Dinh Dynasties. You will be riding bus and explorer the picturesque quiet road through villages, rice fields, rivers and rocky outcrops to Tam Coc (12km). You will have lunch at the local restaurant. Afternoon, you will have Boat trip to visit Tam Coc to see the beauty of the karst formations as you pass along their base and row into one of the many caves carved through the limestone. After finishing the tour, we will drive back to Ha Noi. Today’s our tour ends around 6.00PM then back to the hotel and overnight in Hanoi. Accommodation:Bed, Breakfast and Lunch

Have your early morning breakfast at your hotel. Then get ready to be picked up at 8:00-8:30AM by our guide and driver at your hotel’s lobby. After then you will drive to enjoy the interesting 3.5-hour drive to Ha Long city. After reaching the Ha Long city; you will be having Lunch at local restaurant. After the lunch you will take a boat trip for about 4hrs to explorer the Halong Bay. The Cruise through the emerald waters between the limestone outcrops and long corridors, visit THIEN CUNG cave or SUNGSOT cave. After finishing the cruise, you will be back to Ha Long city where your minibus will be waiting for you to drive you back to Hanoi. At 8:30 PM arrive in Hanoi and check in hotel. Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel. Today 8:00-8:30AM; our guide and driver meet you at hotel lobby then start to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Ha Noi. Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist, dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam). Enjoy your Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam. Vietnam’s first university constructed in 1070, it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. We will take you past Hoan Kiem Lake, see the peaceful waters, and visit Ngoc Son temple. For the end of the tour journey visit by coach trip along the Hanoi Old Quarter. Remaining day Free for shopping.
Note: On Monday and Friday morning, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Ethnic museums are closed - Bat Trang pottery village will be arranged as substitution. Back to your hotel in Hanoi and overnight. Accommodation:Bed, Breakfast and Lunch

Breakfast at the hotel, you are free to relax until we pick up and transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for departure flight back to your home country.
