Sri Lanka, a historically known as Ceylon and officially the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, is an island country in South Asia. It lies in the Indian Ocean, southwest of the Bay of Bengal, separated from the Indian peninsula by the Gulf of Mannar and the Palk Strait. It shares a maritime border with the Maldives in the southwest and India in the northwest.
Sri Lanka has a population of approximately 22 million and is home to many cultures, languages and ethnicities. The Sinhalese people form the majority of the population, followed by the Sri Lankan Tamils, who are the largest minority group and are concentrated in northern Sri Lanka; both groups have played an influential role in the island’s history. Other long-established groups include the Moors, Indian Tamils, Burghers, Malays, Chinese, and Vedda.
Sri Lanka is also known for the exotic beaches and the golden sun shining all around the year. This island in the Indian Ocean watches the golden sunrise and sunsets, one can enjoy surfing on the waves, diving among the splendid coral reefs and spend the best times on the idyllic beach relaxing. Itinerary
Check-in at Kathmandu International Airport at 1100 hours and take your flight to Colombo with Sri Lankan airline. You will depart from Kathmandu at 13:15 hours and land in Colombo airport at 16:35 hours.
Process to the immigration, collect your luggage and outside our team will be waiting to welcome you with your placard. Meet and greet then our team will drive you to Kandy. Upon arrival check-in at our partner hotel and remaining day for relaxation as you are tired after all from a long flight all the way from Kathmandu.

Today, enjoy your delicious breakfast having majestic view from the Amaya hills. You will have amazing scenery from the top hills. Then, after breakfast get ready to process for the exploration of Kandy City as well as a most famous and must visit place of Sacred Tooth Relic which is a world-renowned place of worship, where the left Canine tooth of Gautama Buddha is enshrined. he temple which is venerated by thousands of local & foreign devotees and tourists daily was named as a world heritage by UNESCO in 1988.
The temple which carries a lot of value to Buddhists all over the world also has immense cultural value. The architecture is of unique Kandyan architectural style with a combination of the unique style used to build “Dalada Mandira” the shrines which housed the Sacred Tooth Relic previously in other kingdoms.
The temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is built in the city of Kandy near the ancient Royal Palace which is situated to the North of the temple and the forest reserve called “Udawaththa Kelaya” to the East. The famous Kandy Lake also known as “Kiri Muhuda” to the South and “Natha & Paththini Devala” on the West. The temple is adorned with intricate carvings using gold, silver, bronze, and ivory.
After then, you will experince the Sri Lankan culture dance show. Once the show is over, you will be processing to visit the Kandy Lake, which is a beautiful lake inside the Kandy valley. Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is an artificial lake in the heart of the hill city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe next to the Temple of the Tooth. Over the years, it was reduced in size. It is a protected lake, with fishing banned.
After then, we will move to explore Kandy Viewpoint; a scenic Mountain Retreat which is one of those exceptional spots that offers a panoramic embrace of the historic.
Finally, we will process to visit Bahirawakanda Vihara Buddha Statue; Sri Maha Bodhi Viharaya is a Theravada Buddhist temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is in Bahirawakanda, approximately 2 km (1.2 mi) from the city centre. The temple is known for its giant Buddha statue. The statue of Buddha is depicted in the position of the Dhyana Mudra, the posture of meditation associated with his first Enlightenment, and can be seen from almost everywhere in Kandy. It stands at 26.83 m (88.0 ft) high and is one of the tallest Buddha statues in Sri Lanka.
After completing the Kandy city sightseeing, we will drive to the Bentota, which is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast. Its long Bentota Beach stretches north, where it becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island, parallel to Bentota Lagoon.
We will be driving all the way from Kandy to Bentota. Upon arrival in the resort, check-in and enjoy the remaining evening on your own.

Enjoy the amazing view from your resort which lies just front of the train track, centrally situated to move around and enjoy the water sports activities in the resort. The water sport activities are purchasable paying additional charge at the resort which offer wide range of activities. The resort offers Jet skiing, Banana Boat Rides, or Parasailing etc.
Today is the full day on relaxation and enjoying the beach of Bentota or explore the local markets nearby your resort.

Have your breakfast at your resort at Bentota. Then we will check out and drive towards the capital city Colombo. After reaching Colombo, we will explore the Colombo city and visit Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Memorial Hall, Galle Face Green.
Then at afternoon we will explore the Colombo City which includes Pettah Floating Market then at evening: Shopping in Colombo at places like Odel, House of Fashion, or Arcade Independence Square.
After then, we will drive to hotel and check in. Then have dinner at hotel and overnight in Colombo.

Today, we will check out from Colombo hotel and drive to the Colombo airport to take your flight at 0900 hours from Colombo.
