Wilderness Himalaya

Arrival in Kathmandu. Meet and greet by our team and transfer to the hotel. The remaining of the day is at leisure. The Wilder Himalaya tour briefing will be given around 6 pm where arrangements will be made for the distribution of your official program. In Evening, you will be heading out to the dinner at your hotel and this is a great opportunity to get acquainted with your fellow group members before starting the wilder Himalaya’s adventure. Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel. At 9 am our team will meet you at the hotel and proceed for your day-long sightseeing tours of Kathmandu. We will proceed with Kathmandu Durbar Square by visiting cultural and historical place which is also known as Basantpur. During your trip in Basantapur; you will visit Kumari’s Living goddess house, Kasthmandap (a building which was built by the branch of a single tree), Seto Bhairawa & Kalo Bhairaw temple and finally proceed for Swyambhunath, an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu valley which is also known as Monkey temple. After then, we will drive further to visit Boudhnath stupa which is one of the holiest and World’s heritage Buddhist sites. After finishing Boudhanath we will continue our sightseeing in the holiest Hindu temple popularly known as Pasupatinath temple situated at the bank of Bagmati river. Today, we will have early breakfast to check out from the hotel and start our adventure trek from Sundarijal elevation of 1,300m to Chisapani at 2,300m. The hike takes normally about 4 – 5 hours passing through few settlements on the way. Beyond Sundarijal, the trail starts climbing through forest to a medieval-looking reservoir continuously, the dam and waterworks. After leaving the water supply system of the Sundarijal, our hiking trail climbs steeply to a road to 1,550m. Then, cross the road and continue to climb to the top of the Shivapuri ridge, the first village on the trail with the sprawling Tamang settlement which stands at an altitude of 1,895m. There are few small tea shops around, where we can rest, have a cup of tea and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Kathmandu valley. After Mulkharka, the trail continues to climb steadily. Then, passing through an army camp, the trail enters the Shivapuri National Park. Most of the Shivapuri ridge is a dense forest of pine and oak. We will climb continues down the ridge through a forest of Oak and Rhododendron to Chisapani at 2300m. The village of Chisapani is a mixed settlement of Gurung, Sherpas, and Brahmins. We can enjoy an amazingly beautiful view of the large section of the Himalayan range which emits an ethereal glow in the setting of sunlight. Have your breakfast and prepare your backpack to start our 2nd-day adventure trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot at altitude of 2,175m. Our today’s trek starts to flat trails about 3 hours and reaches a small village called “Chauki Bhanjyang” where we will have a lunch break. After the lunch, the trail descends almost for one and a half hours and then after 30 minutes of ascending hike, we will arrive at the beautiful Hill station called Nagarkot, situated at an altitude of 2,175m. The Nagarkot provides grandstand panoramic views of the Himalayas presenting five of fourteen tallest mountains in the world, including Mt. Everest 8,848m. Similarly, we will see other mountains; Lhotse 8,516m, Cho Oyu 8,201m, Makalu 8,463m, and Manaslu 8,163m and many other lower summits. If you can wake up early morning, you will enjoy the amazing scenery of Sunrise and feel the full force of the charming glow of the Himalayas range during the fresh rays of the rising sun strikes them today. After breakfast, we will start our trek through small walking trail just below the club Himalaya and continue towards to Rhonie Bhanjyang and to Dhulikhel which is a good 16km hike with an altitude drop of more than 800 meters and will take around good 5 hours to complete this trekking with ever-changing landscapes. From the Rhone Bhanjyang, we will enjoy the awesome Himalayas range. The first part of the hike will go through the pine forests for around 10km with sounds of birds chirping inside and the second part will be pass through terraced farmlands and villages of local people cultivating different vegetables for the remaining 8km before reaching the hill station of Dhulikhel. We will continue our adventure trek through the rugged trail direction to Dhulikhel bypassing the villages; Kankre, Tanchok, and Tussal. From Tussal, our trek ascends climbing uphill to the town of Opi and we shall reach the beautiful hill of Dhulikhel finally. Have your dinner and rest in the evening. Have your breakfast at your hotel. Then, we will meet the Whitewater Rafting crew and get fitted out with equipment for Whitewater Rafting in Bhotekoshi. From Dhulikhel, we will drive about 1 hour and reach the Khadichaur where we start our Rafting adventure for today. We will have an early lunch to start our Raft in the Bhotekoshi River. After lunch, we will have necessary guideline, rescue tips which may happen or need during our trip. Once we are ready, we will start our raft towards Dolalghat. During the rafting, we will have a feeling of different levels of rapids with the magnificent scenery of rivers and mountain, delicate wilderness. On the way, you will have panoramic natural scenery as well as wold life. Do not miss to capture the picture, which is memorable throughout your lifetime. In Dolalghat, we will observe villages with typical Nepali style houses at the slope, terraced farming and animal husbandry. After reaching Dolalghat, we put off the Raft and prepare our camp at the terrific place to overnight. <span>Accommodation:</span> Bed, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

After having breakfast, we will start our adventures Rafting trip further to Kolpa, and finally take off station Dumja today. On the way, we will experience adventures rapids and memorable white water splashes several times. At Kolpa, we will do stop to enjoy mouth-watering scenery of hills and mountains as well as mystic wilderness. We will have lunch at Kolpa and prepare our further challenge to Dumja. After then we will continue our raft to the finale rafting destination Dumja where we will put off our Rafting and prepare the place to overnight. <span>Accommodation:</span> Bed, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Today, we will have breakfast and start early morning (7 am) our most challenging mountain cycling through the hilly villages and reach Pauwa. Enjoy the amazing scenery from the top of the mountain. This is the most important and energetic ride of our tour. So, get well prepared to challenge ride to cross this hilly mountain smoothly. We will have a lunch break in Pauwa. After lunch we will start our adventure ride towards Kathmandu passing; Bhotepati, Chapkhori, and Narayansthan. Today, we will make our stop at Narayansthan. Have your dinner and overnight at a local lodge. <span>Accommodation:</span> Bed, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Enjoy your breakfast at Narayansthan and prepare your gear to start our last day adventure ride from Narayansthan to Tin Pipple. We will have an amazing ride with great mountain range scenery, forest, up and downhill, river and we will reach finally Tin Piple where the motorway starts to Kathmandu. On the way from Narayansthan, we will pass the mountain villages as; Kot Timal, Baluwa Bazar and finally Tin Pipple passing the rice paddy, river and down-hill. After reaching Tin Pipple, we conclude our adventurous and thrilling rafting experience and return back to Kathmandu. Remaining day rest and evening welfare dinner. Today, have your breakfast at your hotel then prepare to check out. According to your flight time, our team will pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. <span>Accommodation:</span>Breakfast & Departure Transfer
